I LOVE to read. I read all kinds of books. I average 2-3 books per week.
In 2015, I read 153 books. I’m weird in that I keep track of the books I read and my rating and the date I finish them. I’m a little bit of a nerd in that respect. I’m the type of person that always has to have several books lined up to read or I get nervous. I used to get books in paperback and the authors I loved, I would get their books in hardback. I even have shelves in one room of my house for all my favorite books. It is filled and I still have boxes of books in the basement. Yea, I might have a bit of a problem! But, now I read on my kindle. I LOVE having all my books at my fingertips and just a wifi connection away from getting anything I want.
I put together a list of my favorite books from 2015. I was going to do my top 15 books for the year, but the photo template I found had 16, so you get a bonus book! So, these are my favorites I read last year. Some were super easy to add, while I had a hard time narrowing some of these down. I didn’t read a book last year that I didn’t like. Although, there were a couple that I was thinking about for days afterward ( not necessarily good thoughts either…) Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll) I did like it, but I had so many questions at the end.
It would be hard for me to pick just one book, but I LOVED all of these and to answer your question after looking at this list, yes, I just read To Kill A Mockingbird this year! I KNOW!
My plan is to post weekly with what I am reading and what I think about it. I’ll be honest and let you know, but I’m a bit picky with what I read. Although I read all genres, lately I’ve needed light-hearted reads more often. If you have a favorite book, please share with me so I can read it too!
